A Wedding at Magnolia Plantation
Throughout my photography career, I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with some of my very best friends. One of my very favorite people is the very talented, Melissa Nocks, owner of Mel Nocks Photography and Dear Lissie in Greenville, South Carolina. I was thrilled when she asked me to photograph not just one but TWO weddings with her in the lowcountry over the weekend. After a full Saturday of wedding photography on Hilton Head Island, we made our way to Magnolia Plantation on Sunday for the second of the two. Located near Charleston, Magnolia Plantation is home to one of the oldest gardens in America. If you’ve never been there, it definitely needs to be a priority on your bucket list. It is absolutely breathtaking. I had fun scouting the grounds for good places to take some landscapes. I only wish I had had more time to actually create them. I have included some outtakes in this post that I hope you will enjoy. I am currently working on a list of places I would like to visit to photograph and this made its way to the top that weekend.
